Sweatshirt Weather released their debut EP, “With High Hopes,” earlier this year. The electro-pop band started with Chris Stewart and Daniel Inskeep who both shared their musical aspirations through long distance communication. A few life changing decisions brought them together to begin work on the debut EP. At this time, they pulled together a complete band consisting of Ryan Kergides on drums and Nate Adams on bass. With this line-up of multi-talented musicians, Sweatshirt Weather has released a debut EP and is already working on their second. In this time, they have amassed a highly respectable following. Talk about unsigned hype!
They were nice enough to send HypeTune.com an exclusive free download of the song “Maybe We’ll Make It Summer” off the debut EP. Check them out by downloading the song and then sampling and downloading the entire EP right below that. Also, check out some awesome footage of the band performing and recording (below). We have more to look forward too as they are currently recording their new EP with producer Jim Wirt (Jack’s Mannequin, The Rocket Summer, Incubus, etc). Get on the hype.
