Trippy Wicked & the Cosmic Children of the Knight are said to have a “rolling, thundering mass of infectious riffs, distorted gut-busting bass, tripped out vocals, relentless beats and hairy sweaty faces twisted with grins and gurns.” However, the heavy rock band has decided to tone it down a bit after their debut album “Movin On.” They recently released this EP called “The Bleak.” The 4-track acoustic EP covers themes of emptiness, unrest, and loneliness. The band recorded the album in a home studio. Their frontman, Pete Holland, replaces his electric guitar with an ukelele and drummer Chris West plays acoustic. “The Bleak” is a soft-spoken album with a loud message.
