This up-and-coming hip hop artist is definitely one to keep an eye on. Queens native, Blaise, now a student at Boston University, was born with a passion for music and artistic creation. He’s been dedicated to the development of a unique and original sound that he hopes will captivate audiences of all tastes. Blaise states three main goals for his musical influence: give people something to relate to, give them something that will inspire, or, at the minimum, give them something they can “bob” their heads too. Blaise is an artist who constantly challenges himself, striving for these goals while staying original and true to his form. Check out his debut mixtape, “Knock On Wood.” His lyrics are crazy and you can tell he is a rapper on the rise, representing his generation. His versatility is also insane, evident in his “Dog Days” remix, originally by Florence + The Machine. Rap over an indie/pop song produces quite a unique sound.
