Tim Bergling (A.K.A. Avicii, Tim Berg, Tom Hangs) makes damn good music. I first listened to to him over six months ago when Pete Tong featured Avicii on his legendary “Essential Mix”. Since then, I’ve had the luxury of seeing him twice (Glow/Pacha) and cannot stop listening. So how good is he? His hit single, “Seek Bromance,” reached the top [international] chart of Beatport. He’s only 21. Honestly, if you haven’t heard that song by now, I really don’t know what to say. Beginning as a producer in ’08, Tim has not only pumped out massive tracks and remixes, but also dominated clubs with his live performances. Recently at Electric Daisy Carnival in Vegas, Avicii dropped quite possibly his best vocal mix yet. I am not sure if this song is actually called “Don’t Give Up On Us,” but I’m going with it because of the video below. There are also some tracks below, a few absolute Avicii essentials.
